CUNY School of Labor and Urban Studies faculty members have a variety of resources available to assist with their teaching, research and administrative responsibilities. Below you will find information and resources for full-time and part-time faculty at SLU.
CTL
The Center for Teaching and Learning(CTL) at School of Labor and Urban Studies is here to support faculty in their work and professional development. Our mission is to explore and foster inclusive, evidence-based teaching practices. We aim to facilitate the development of vibrant, challenging, and reflective student-centered learning experiences.
Faculty Handbook
The Handbook provides an overview of the functions of departmental chairs, faculty, administrative staff, the library, student affairs, etc. The Handbook also features hyperlinks to a broad array of policies, including both guidelines principally affecting faculty and procedures that may be of interest to faculty but also apply broadly across the School and University communities.
The Faculty Handbook is an important resource for new and continuing faculty, one that provides guidance to institutional protocols and departmental practices in an effort to provide essential and detailed information. Read online or download.
