The CUNY School of Labor and Urban Studies (SLU) Strategic Plan 2016-2024 (Extended) presents a singular vision for the professional school. SLU’s four priorities are to: 1) Enhance student access, retention, and success; 2) Enrich and expand the academic experience; 3) Build organizational effectiveness and capacity; 4) Advance the broader mission of the School. This is managed through a set of goals that align with the City University of New York’s Strategic Plan 2022-2029, and the Standards of the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.

SLU is the process of creating an Institutional Effectiveness Plan, which when completed will be available here. This document will guide both the planning and assessment of institutional initiatives and the divisional and departmental activities that support the realization of SLU’s mission, vision and values.
