Instruction explores how urban living impacts workers, working-class communities, and marginalized groups.

DC 37 Education Fund Benefits Application: Prior to applying to CUNY SLU, you must first complete the DC 37 Education Fund Benefits Application for your chosen/preferred certificate or degree program. See: DC 37 Eligibility Requirements Chart.
- Local 1549 Ronnie Harris Memorial Scholarship Awards $1,500 in scholarships to a select number of members and member children annually.
- DC 37’s Ed Fund offers eligible members $915 annual tuition reimbursement.
- The DC 37 Ed Fund now covers four courses within Labor Studies; in the Labor Certificate, Labor M.A., or Urban B.A. with Labor Studies Track.
- CUNY SLU awards generous scholarships for adult learners and public sector workers.
