Referring students to the Learning Hub: Best practices

Request a class visit

A writing advisor will visit your classroom to introduce students to the Learning Hub’s resources, show students how to access our services and answer any questions.

Require a Learning Hub appointment

Requiring students to visit the Learning Hub as part of an assignment is a great way to help students connect with our advisors. Most students who make an initial appointment follow up to make additional appointments. Feel free to reach out to Michael Rymer to discuss.

Request an In-class Workshop

A staff member will facilitate one of the Learning Hub’s workshops in your class. Workshops range from 30-75 minutes. We are happy to adapt our workshops to your needs or collaborate to develop a workshop tailored to a particular assignment.

Consult with us about your writing assignments

All of our writing advisors teach writing and we love to collaborate on assignment design. Email Michael Rymer to set up a meeting.
