New York City College of Technology (City Tech) serves as a central resource for participating school and daycare workers with questions or concerns about any aspects of their learning journey at City Tech. The focus of the LEAP to Teacher program at City Tech is to enable participants to further pursue their education and advance their career in Career and Technical Education or Math Education, while participants interested in alternative fields of study also receive advising and assistance. We help eligible students to enter and complete all degree requirements in a timely fashion and without undue stress. We are committed to providing comprehensive support tailored to individual needs and to promote professional growth, academic success, and student well-being throughout their educational journey.

The City Tech School of Education provides undergraduate programs in three premier education fields of studying, specifically designed to advance your career in teaching. These include Career and Technical Teacher Education (BSEd), Technology Teacher Education (BSEd), and Mathematics Education (BS). Workshops and Courses

The LEAP to Teacher program offers a variety of free noncredit courses and workshops designed to enhance students’ skills to pass different certification exams and provide an opportunity to complete some NY State mandatory training for educators.
