DC 37 is dedicated to the empowerment of its members through education and career advancement, creating a ladder to professional success and cultivating a new generation of rank-and-file union leaders. In partnership with the CUNY School of Labor and Urban Studies (SLU), DC 37’s Education Fund offers academic programs for DC 37 members interested in expanding their knowledge of the labor movement, labor relations, and unionism.
The Fund covers the cost of tuition and non-instructional fees* for one graduate course (up to 3 credits) or one undergraduate course (up to 4 credits) per semester. The fund will cover a maximum of four courses per eligible academic program.
