Cheneyere Williamson is an early-career talent and workforce development leader with more than 15 years of experience designing, launching, and scaling programs that connect individuals to education, skill development, and meaningful career opportunities. Driven by the belief that everyone should have access to quality jobs and economic mobility, her work sits at the intersection of business, higher education, government, and workforce development. Her expertise spans early-career recruitment, talent development, employer and university partnerships, internship and training programs, as well as workforce strategy.
Throughout her career, Cheneyere has led large-scale national initiatives focused on addressing evolving workforce needs and expanding access to opportunity. Her work includes developing innovative recruitment and talent development programs, building pathways into high-growth industries, and advising senior leaders on workforce trends, talent strategy, and program effectiveness. Her leadership also includes overseeing multimillion-dollar program portfolios, directing cross-functional teams, and managing strategic partnerships that help translate ambitious strategies into real measurable results.
As a Career Specialist at the CUNY School of Labor and Urban Studies, Cheneyere brings an industry-informed perspective to her work, helping students navigate career opportunities, understand evolving employer expectations, and position themselves for long-term professional growth.
Cheneyere holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from York University in Toronto, Canada and a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University- Brooklyn. She is also a graduate of Columbia Business School’s Executive Education Developing Leaders Program for Nonprofit Professionals.
