Congratulations to the graduating class of 2019!
See how our Inaugural Commencement went.
On Friday, June 14th, the CUNY School of Labor and Urban Studies celebrated its inaugural commencement. More than 400 people, including students and their families, SLU faculty and staff filled the auditorium to capacity in celebration of the School’s first-ever graduating class.
Our diverse student body includes working adults and an increasing number of traditional- aged students. They come from many walks of life, but virtually all are motivated by a commitment to public service and social justice.
The School of Labor and Urban Studies has a faculty that includes some of the most distinguished social science scholars in the nation. Between them, they have published over 85 books, research studies, and important essays.
