The 2026 SCR Summer School will run from 5:00p on Sunday, June 21, through 2:00p on Friday, June 26, 2026. All program activities will take place at the School of Labor and Urban Studies, 25 West 43rd Street, 19th Floor, New York, NY 10036.
Registration, orientation, and an opening reception and plenary panel will take place from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 21.
To accomplish the aims of the program in the short time allotted, students should be prepared for a schedule that is both rigorous and intense. Attendance at all class sessions, including the orientation events, is mandatory for all participants in the program. Full days will be the norm, including out-of-class small-group assignments and evening assignments or sessions. We do not recommend making social arrangements during the week of the course. Further details will be sent with confirmation letters.
Class will meet Monday through Friday at SLU starting at 8:30 a.m. We will have more details on the evening schedule soon. Wednesday evening will include a relaxing social event in the city.
