Steve Greenfeld joined the staff of Murphy/CUNY in February 2018 as Academic Program Manager for the Urban Studies Program.  He has extensive experience as an academic administrator in such key areas as recruitment, advising, and student services. Most recently, he served as Director of the College of New Rochelle District Council 37 campus. Dr. Greenfeld has broad knowledge of the CUNY system. He was the Director of Advising at Bronx Community College from 1998-2002, and in 2004, he was appointed an Assistant Dean at LaGuardia Community College. He also served as an associate dean at George Mason University and directed the advising program at Marymount Manhattan College.  He has made numerous presentations and published articles on such education topics as enrollment management, adult learning, academic interventions, advisement and teaching, and student retention.  He completed the B.A. at the College of William and Mary, M.A. at Indiana University, Bloomington, and Ph.D. at Columbia University.
