The Undergraduate Certificate in Labor Relations, provides NYC area union members, officers, staff, and many others with practical knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to navigate their workplaces and to be effective practitioners in the field of labor and industrial relations.

Career & Academic Advancement

The program is designed to provide students with skills in the areas of collective bargaining, organizing, labor law, arbitration, contract negotiation, organizational administration and leadership development. These skills are useful for careers in organizing, labor relations, strategic research, labor and employment law, and mediation.

Admissions Criteria

Candidates for admission to undergraduate level certificate programs must possess a high school diploma or a High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma from New York State (also known as TASC or GED).
