Nikki Neysmith has over ten years of human resources experience working at both not-for-profit organizations and New York City municipal agencies. Nikki’s human resources experiences span across a broad spectrum of key areas including but not limited to employee benefits, compliance, job analysis, career development and recruiting. In her role as a HR Business Partner with the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, she supports hiring managers by providing comprehensive recruitment activities. This role includes assisting external applicants and students with navigating the NYC civil service process by educating individuals on taking civil service exams, the different types of civil service titles and how to enhance resumes to align more closely with desired positions. Nikki holds a BBA in Human Resources Management from Temple University. As a Brooklyn native, she also completed a master’s degree program in Industrial/Organizational Psychology – Organizational Behavior at Brooklyn College.
