Liz’s experience in higher education includes teaching, tutoring, academic program management, grants administration, strategic and operational planning and budgeting, and accreditation. She currently serves as Director of Institutional Research and Assessment at SLU, where she leads the Office of Planning, Effectiveness, Research, and Assessment (OPERA). In this role, she oversees institutional research, effectiveness, assessment, and databasing projects. Her responsibilities include supervising and performing data collection, analysis, and reporting; directing the Science and Technology Entry Program (STEP) and Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP) – Project CAP and Project LAW; managing compliance as SLU’s Conflict of Interest Officer; and providing leadership for analytics, reporting, and user support for key institutional systems, including CUNYfirst, Coursedog, EAB Navigate, and SLATE.
