Aliqae Geraci is the SLU and Critical Pedagogy Librarian at the CUNY Graduate Center. Aliqae has a BA in Economics and Labor Studies from Empire State College, an MS in Library and Information Science from Long Island University, and an MA in Labor Studies from the CUNY Murphy Institute (now School of Labor and Urban Studies). Aliqae previously served as Director of the Walter P. Reuther Library, Archives of Labor and Urban Affairs at Wayne State University, Assistant Director for the Catherwood Library, ILR School at Cornell University, as a research analyst for AFSCME DC37, and as a public librarian in Queens. Aliqae’s research interests encompass the documentation of labor and social movements as well as labor and employment relations in GLAM/cultural institutions, with a focus on the urban public sector.
