Paula Finn is the Associate Director of SLU’s Center for Labor, Community, & Public Policy, and Editor of SLU’s journal, New Labor Forum. Prior to joining SLU, she founded and directed the New York Worker Education Program of the Amalgamated Clothing & Textile Workers Union, and went on to serve as Education Director for Local 1199. Finn is also a poet, whose work has been published in journals and anthologies, and performed widely at universities, unions, and at public events. Her poetry commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Triangle Shirtwaist Fire is featured in the dramatic oratorio, From the Fire, www.trianglefromthefire.com, winner of the Best Musical Theater award at the 2011 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Finn holds a Master’s degree from New York University.
